Ignite your passion for Japanese tea at this unique session near Tokyo Tower.
While green tea is enjoyed around the world, it is still not widely known that there are many different types of Japanese tea with different looks, aromas, and tastes. In this program, you will sample seven varieties of Japanese tea, including Gyokuro, the highest quality tea leaf grown in the shade, and learn about the history and culture of Japanese tea from a certified tea expert.

In this program, you will not only get to try some of the very best Japanese teas there is but also learn about their differences, histories, and cultural significances from our trained tea instructors. As part of the course, they will prepare for you three of our most popular varieties – including the “Gyokuro” tea, known for its elegant flavor. In addition, traditional sweets known as Wagashi, which complement the different teas, will also be served.
As with all our in-house cultural sessions, this program will take place in our state-of-the-art Grand TJT cultural experiences room.
